7月8日，廣東佛山一居民報警稱，其在租住的酒店式公寓空調下方發現攝像頭。
據當事人反映，民警到場后將空調拆卸排查，隨后又在客廳空調下方發現同款攝像頭。
7月9日，轄區派出所工作人員回應稱，已接到報案并介入調查，暫未在其他住戶家中發現偷拍設備。
