寒山禪隱詩英譯輯第三輯（十三首海外傳世名篇）

繼前兩輯寒山詩英譯發(fā)表后，本輯再精選十三首海外流傳度最高的寒山原作，以完成三十余首核心代表作三輯完整譯介工程。寒山詩憑借通俗禪理、山林清境風靡歐美，成為中國古典文學出海標桿。譯文恪守信達雅、功能對等、以詩譯詩準則，嚴守原文一句對應英文一行，不增不漏，自創(chuàng)規(guī)整尾韻，文字簡凈雋永，最大化保留禪詩留白空靈，助力東方隱逸禪意在異文化語境持久煥發(fā)光彩。

1.自樂平生道

自樂平生道，煙蘿石洞間。

野情多放曠，長伴白云閑。

有路不通世，無心孰可攀。

石床孤夜坐，圓月上寒山。

FindingJoy in the Way I Live my Life

Mylifelong path brings quiet cheer,

Wherevines and caves veil mountain sheer.

Mywild heart roams unconfined,

Withwhite clouds I leave all cares behind.

Pathslead to no mundane strand,

Aheart without desire can stand.

Onstone bed I sit alone at night,

Fullmoon climbs Cold Mountain’s height.

2.一住寒山萬事休

一住寒山萬事休，更無雜念掛心頭。

閑于石壁題詩句，任運還同不系舟。

OnceSettled in the Cold Mountain, All Worries Cease

OnceI dwell on Cold Mountain, all strife fades away,

Notangled thoughts linger to trouble my heart each day.

Iscrawl short verses on stone walls at my free will,

Driftwith fate like boats unbound, serene and still.

3.重巖我卜居

重巖我卜居，鳥道絕人跡。

庭際何所有，白云抱幽石。

住茲凡幾年，屢見春冬易。

寄語鐘鼎家，虛名定無益。

Amongthe Cliffs I Choose my Dwelling

Ibuild my home on the layered-crags space,

Noman's track, only bird trails thread the place.

Whatfills my yard? —behold the zone,

Whiteclouds enfold the rugged stones.

Yearsslip by within this quiet ground,

Springblooms and winter frost around.

Tolords with bronze tripods and rank I say:

Emptyfame can bring no lasting good each day.

4.寒山多幽奇

寒山多幽奇，登者皆恒懾。

月照水澄澄，風吹草獵獵。

凋梅雪作花，杌木云充葉。

觸雨轉鮮靈，非晴不可涉。

TheCold Mountain Abounds in Secluded Wonders

ColdMountain holds strange hidden grace,

Allclimbers pause with amazed faces.

Moonlightstreams o’er clear water’sbed,

Windsweeps grass blades with rustling tread.

Witheredplums turn snow-white bloom,

Bareboughs wear clouds as leafy plume.

Rainrevives all things in vivid light,

Notrail to tread till clear skies shine bright.

5.棲遲寒巖下

棲遲寒巖下，偏訝最幽奇。

攜籃采山茹，挈籠摘果歸。

蔬齋敷茅坐，啜啄食紫芝。

清沼濯瓢缽，雜和煮稠稀。

當陽擁裘坐，閑讀古人詩。

Dwellingunder the Frosty Crag

Idwell beneath cold crag arms,

Marvelat all their hidden charms.

Icarry baskets for wild herbs fine,

Carrycages full of ripe fruit to dine.

Ispread dry grass to sit alone,

Peckingand sipping the purple lingzhi known.

Washgourd and bowl in clear marsh pool,

Boilherbs to broth, thin or thick in rule.

Wrappedin rough cloak beneath warm sun,

Iread old sages’ poems till day is done.

6.寒山無漏巖

寒山無漏巖，其巖甚濟要。

八風吹不動，萬古人傳妙。

寂寂好安居，空空離譏誚。

孤月夜長明，圓日常來照。

虎丘兼虎溪，不用相呼召。

世間有王輔，莫把同周邵。

我自遁寒巖，快活長歌笑。

TheNo-Leakage Crag on Cold Mountain

ColdMountain’s flawless rock standstall,

Afirm refuge through rise and fall.

Eightwinds cannot shake its steady frame,

Itstimeless wonder men acclaim.

Silentabode for tranquil rest,

Emptymind escapes all scorn and jest.

Lonelymoon glows through endless night,

Brightsun pours down its warm clear light.

TigerHill, Tiger Stream far off apart,

Ineed not summon them to my heart.

Theworld has lords with rank and fame,

Nonematch Zhou and Shao’s virtuous name.

Ihide alone on cold stone crest,

Singand laugh with unburdened chest.

7.寒山寒，冰鎖石（三字偈節(jié)選）

寒山寒，冰鎖石。

藏山青，現(xiàn)雪白。

日出照，一時釋。

從茲暖，養(yǎng)老客。

ColdMountain chills, ice locks stone,

Greenpeaks concealed, white snow shown.

Sunrises high, all frozen melts away,

Warmtharrives to cradle the elder’s stay.

8.碧澗泉水清

碧澗泉水清，寒山月華白。

默知神自明，觀空境逾寂。

ClearWater Flows in the Emerald Ravine

Clearbrook springs glisten blue and clean,

ColdMountain's moon sheds silver sheen.

Insilent calm my spirit clears,

Gazingon void, all stillness nears.

9.陽焰空中花

陽焰空中花，世事總虛假。

一朝大夢醒，萬事皆拋下。

HeatMirage, Blossoms in Empty Air

Heatmirages bloom in empty sky like flame,

Allmortal things are empty, mere empty claim.

Whenone awakes from mortal dream,

Allworldly cares are cast astream.

10. 眾生多愚昧

眾生多愚昧，執(zhí)幻當成真。

只戀眼前樂，不知身后因。

AllBeings Are often Ignorant

Allmortal folk dwell in blind delusion,

Takefleeting illusions for truth's fusion.

Theycrave brief joys before their eyes,

Ignorethe karmic ties that rise.

11. 狂風搖大樹

狂風搖大樹，樹穩(wěn)自安然。

心若無榮辱，憂患不相牽。

FierceWinds Shake Tall Trees

Wildtempests shake the tall old tree,

Yetsteady roots keep it free.

Ifheart forsakes both fame and shame,

Nogrief or fear can cling and claim.

12.三界紛紛擾

三界紛紛擾，人人逐利忙。

何如歸寂處，靜坐忘行藏。

TheThree Realms Are Entangled in Discord

Threerealms churn with restless maze,

Allmortals chase vain gain all days.

Farbetter dwell in quiet place,

Sitstill, forget all worldly trace.

13. 本來無一物

本來無一物，何用苦奔波。

心凈塵埃盡，空山日月多。

OriginallyThere Is Nothing

Nothing exists from very start,

Whyrush and toil with troubled heart?

Whenmind grows pure, all dust fades by,

Emptyhills hold sun and moon high.

版本依據(jù)和翻譯說明

1.全部詩文以揚州詩局本《全唐詩》卷八百零六《寒山詩集》，存詩三百零三首為第一底本。

2.異字統(tǒng)一取通行正統(tǒng)刊本，無篡改、無增刪。

3.本輯譯文延續(xù)前兩輯統(tǒng)一譯制標準，做到原文文字盡量少增刪、無漏譯。采用 AABB或ABAB尾韻，兼顧誦讀韻律美；語言取質(zhì)樸簡淡筆調(diào)貼合寒山白話禪詩本色，留白克制，不堆砌華麗修飾。立足功能對等、以詩譯詩、信達雅三重準則，精準傳遞山林隱逸與禪宗空性內(nèi)核，適配海外讀者審美，具備長期傳世價值。

因水平有限，譯作存在不足，敬請專家學者和讀者批評指正。筆者愿為中華文化出海減少“文化折扣”貢獻綿薄之力。

本三輯共四十一首寒山核心詩作至此全部譯完，完整梳理寒山最具海外影響力經(jīng)典篇目。譯文以逐行對應、押韻詩體搭建跨文化橋梁，還原寒山詩淡遠禪寂風骨。千年前東方隱逸智慧借雙語文本走向世界，在異質(zhì)文學語境持續(xù)煥發(fā)生機，為中華古典禪詩出海提供一套可誦讀、可留存的成熟譯本。（王永利）
