Shocked by the History

伊內莎（Inessa）是哈薩克斯坦的一名心理咨詢師。今年6月，她和3名朋友結伴來到西安旅游。記者見到她時，她們正在南門附近體驗漢服妝造。

Inessa is a psychologist from Kazakhstan. In June this year, she traveled to Xi'an with three friends. When the reporter met her, they were trying on Hanfu and makeup near South Gate.

“西安是古絲綢之路的起點，是我們耳熟能詳的中國城市，我們懷著了解中國歷史的愿望來到這里，讓人驚喜的是，西安讓我們有了極為豐富獨特的體驗。”伊內莎告訴記者，幾天的行程里，她和同伴游覽了西安城墻、大雁塔、大唐不夜城、回坊風情街等景區，從導游的講解中了解了城墻堅固的防御體系、玄奘取經的故事，享受了葫蘆雞、烤羊肉串等特色美食，“雖然我們4人的年齡跨度從50歲到80歲，但是毫無疑問，西安得到了我們一致的喜愛！”

"Xi'an is the starting point of the ancient Silk Road—a well-known Chinese city we've long admired. We came here hoping to learn about Chinese history, and surprisingly, Xi'an offered us incredibly rich and unique experiences," Inessa told the reporter. During their stay, she and her companions visited the tourist attractions, including the Xi'an City Wall, Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Grand Tang Mall, and the Muslim Quarter. Through their tour guide's explanations, they learned about the City Wall's robust defense system and the legendary journey of Xuanzang seeking Buddhist scriptures to the west. They also enjoyed local delicacies such as Huluji and grilled lamb skewers. "Although the four of us rangefrom fifty to eighty years old, there's no doubt that we all fell in love with Xi'an!"

西安同樣滿足了來自美國的曼吉尼（Mangini）一家對此次中國游的期待。來西安首日，曼吉尼一家7人便去往心心念念的秦始皇帝陵博物院參觀。“恢弘雄壯的秦俑陣列來自兩千多年前，至今保存著原貌，太不可思議。作為一座歷史悠久的城市，西安把文物保護得很好。”爸爸約瑟夫（Joseph）說，栩栩如生的兵俑展現著中國古人的智慧和精湛工藝，是偉大的藝術瑰寶，讓他對中國文化更感興趣了。

Xi'an also fulfilled the expectations of the Mangini family from the United States for their trip to China. On their first day in Xi'an, the seven-member family headed straight to the much-anticipated Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum. "The magnificentterracotta army dates back over two thousand years, yet remains remarkably preserved—truly incredible. As a city with such a long history, Xi'an has done an excellent job protecting its cultural heritage," said Joseph, the father. He added that the lifelike warrior figures reflect the wisdom and exquisite craftsmanship of ancient Chinese, representing great artistic treasures that have deepened his interest in Chinese culture.

女兒伊莎貝拉（Isabella）表示，她最開心的是吃到了原汁原味的中餐，自己尤其喜歡西安的面食，“在美國時我們吃過中餐，但還是覺得在西安吃到的更美味?！?/p>

The daughter Isabella shared that her greatest joy was tasting authentic Chinese cuisine, especially Xi'an's delicious noodles. "We've tried Chinese food in America, but nothing compares to what we've tasted here in Xi'an."

領略盛唐風華

Immersed in the Grand Tang Dynasty

每到傍晚，位于西安長安北路的唐樂宮，就會迎來絡繹不絕的外國游客。這里，以“仿唐歌舞+宮廷晚宴”為核心，集美食、演出、文化體驗于一體，成為世界各國游客沉浸式體驗“唐代宮廷宴樂文化”的重要場所。

Every evening, the Tang Yue Gong on Chang'an North Road welcomes a stream of international tourists. Centered around "Tang-style music and dance combined with imperial banquets," the venue integrates gourmet dining, performances, and cultural activities, becoming a key destination where worldwide travelers can deeply immerse themselves in the elegance of court entertainment in the Tang Dynasty.

步入大廳，游客們正熱鬧地聚在《唐樂舞》壁畫前駐足合影，不時有人被旁邊造型精巧的唐代茶點“唐菓子”所吸引。工作人員介紹“唐菓子”是中國古代茶點文化的組成部分，造型雅致，香甜美味，蘊含豐富的文化內涵和美學價值。

Upon entering, visitors gather excitedly around the mural of "Tang Music and Dance," taking photos together. Many are drawn to the intricately designed Tang-style pastriesknown as "Tang Guozi." Staff explained that these desserts are part of ancient Chinese tea culture—elegant in appearance, sweet and delicious on a bite, and rich in cultural significance and aesthetic value.

晚上7點多，隨著樂聲奏響，唐宮樂舞《大唐女皇》的演員入場，開宴儀式正式開啟，游客們開始了邊用餐邊欣賞演出的獨特體驗。華麗的場景、生動的劇情、地道的美食，還有與“唐高宗”、“武則天”的近距離互動，用外國朋友的話說“仿佛穿越回大唐盛世，體會到極致的浪漫?！币粓鼋K了，大廳里爆發出經久不息的掌聲。

After 7 p.m., as music begins to play, performers of the show "Empress of the Great Tang" enter the stage, officially launching the banquet. Guests begin enjoying a unique experience watching the performance while dining. With splendid scenes, vivid stories, authentic cuisine, and close encounters with characters of "Emperor Gaozong" and "Wu Zetian," international visitors say it feels like traveling back to the glorious era of the Tang Dynasty, experiencing ultimate romance. When the performance ends, the hall erupts in prolonged applause.

“演出還原了我了解的女皇武則天的傳奇故事，舞臺聲光電到位，演員的服飾精美，這樣的體驗很新鮮、很完美！”美國女孩貝蒂（Betty）和父母在唐樂宮觀賞了《大唐女皇》演出后興奮地說。

"The show brought to life the legendary story of Empress Wu Zetian I've learned about. The sound, lights, and stage effects were perfect, and the actors' costumes were stunning too. This kind of experience is fresh and amazing!" exclaimed Betty, an American girl, after watching the "Empress of the Great Tang" at Tang Yue Gong with her parents.

在西安這樣的沉浸式體驗深受外國游客喜愛。今年以來，唐樂宮唐宮樂舞演出吸引入境游客的新聞多次登上央視新聞等主流媒體。據了解，今年1至6月，《大唐女皇》共演出200余場，接待外國游客超10萬人次。“打卡唐樂宮”成為西安入境游代表項目，明年的入境游團隊已經紛紛提前排期。

Such immersive experiences in Xi'an are popular among international tourists. Since the beginning of this year, news about Tang Yue Gong's court music and dance performances attracting inbound tourists has frequently appeared on mainstream media such as CCTV News. It is reported that, from January to June, the show "Empress of the Great Tang" has been performed over 200 times, welcoming more than 100,000 foreign visitors. "Visiting Tang Yue Gong" has become a representative project for Xi'an's inbound tourism, with tour groups for next year already booking in advance.

是什么吸引著不同膚色、不同國籍的海外游客紛至沓來？看秦俑、穿漢服、賞唐舞、品美食……這些是答案，又都不是全部答案。

What draws international travelers of different backgrounds to flock here? Seeing the Terracotta Warriors, wearing Hanfu, enjoying Tang dynasty performances, tasting local food... these can be the answers, but not all of them.

在今年的主流媒體報道中，西安積極匯聚行業合力，完善入境服務，不斷創新科技體驗、沉浸體驗等文旅全新打開方式，如全息影像“復活”唐朝舞蹈《霓裳羽衣舞》、VR讓游客“近距離觀看”兵馬俑、文創產品推陳出新，優化離境退稅服務，提升通關與支付便利……

In recent mainstream media coverage, Xi'an has actively brought together forces, improved inbound services, and continuously innovated cultural tourism experiences through technology. For example, holographic imaging brings the Tang dynasty's "Raiment of Rainbow and Feathers Dance" back to life; VR allows visitors to "get up close" with the Terracotta Army; new cultural and creative products keep emerging; tax refund upon departure services have been optimized, with customs clearance and payment systems becoming increasingly convenient.

“現在咨詢中國游的顧客數量‘嘭’地爆炸式增長，西安是很多人會選擇的重要一站?！币獯罄祭孜鱽喴患衣眯猩缲撠熑丝死锼沟侔玻–hristian）說道。今年6月，他帶團隊來到西安。

"The number of customers consulting about traveling to China has exploded, and Xi'an has become an essential destination for many," said Christian, head of a travel agency in Brescia, Italy, who led his group to Xi'an in June.

接受采訪時，克里斯蒂安落地西安才兩天，卻坦言“已經愛上了這座古典與現代交融的東方古都”。他說：“西安有獨一無二的歷史文化，有極具特色的商業街區，還有安全的旅游環境、便捷的交通和支付體系，有什么理由讓人說不？”

During the interview, Christian admitted that, though it was just two days after arriving in Xi'an, he had already fallen in love with this ancient Eastern city where history meets modernity. "Xi'an boasts unique history and culture, distinctive commercial districts, a safe tourism environment, convenient transportation, and an efficient payment system—what reason could there be to say no?" he said.

克里斯蒂安對西安沉浸式文旅體驗給予高度評價。在唐樂宮，他和二十位同伴體驗包餃子。綠色的菠菜汁面團、紫色的紫薯面團、粉色的仙人掌果面團，搭配上芹菜肉餡、蓮蓉餡，在面點老師的指導下，從克里斯蒂安和同伴手中變成了一個個“刺猬”“福袋”“青蛙”餃子。誰的作品受到面點老師一句肯定，全場都為他歡呼。

Christian gave high praise to Xi'an's immersive cultural tourism experience. At Tang Yue Gong, he and his twenty companions tried making dumplings. Green spinach-dyed dough, purple sweet potato dough, and pink prickly pear dough were filled with celery-meat and lotus seed paste. Under the guidance of a pastry instructor, their creations transformed into "hedgehogs," "lucky bags," and "frogs." Whoever's workd was praised by the instructor, the entire group would cheer for him.

“這樣的體驗是很好的回憶，它讓我們成為參與者，而不僅僅是觀眾。”克里斯蒂安告訴記者，自己每天都迫不及待地向意大利家人分享見聞，“回去，我要把真實的西安、真實的中國推薦給更多人。這里，值得被看見！”

"This kind of experience makes up wonderful memories—it makes us participants, not just spectators," Christian told the reporter, who couldn't wait to share his stories with family back in Italy. "When I return, I will recommend the real Xi'an and Chinato even more people. This place deserves to be recognized!"
