1??espouse
spouse 是「配偶」，但 espouse 卻是動(dòng)詞，表示「支持，擁護(hù)」某種觀點(diǎn)、理論、事業(yè)等。比如，espouse the scientific cause 是指「支持科學(xué)事業(yè)」。所以，espouser 是指「擁護(hù)者」。來(lái)看《經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)人》的一個(gè)句子。

wave 是「海浪」，但 waver 卻是「躊躇；猶豫不決」，相當(dāng)于動(dòng)詞 hesitate，也是外刊常用動(dòng)詞。
