截止7月13日18:00，2026年太原市民辦初中報名工作已全部結束，現對全市民辦初中（含已轉公的公參民學校）報名情況進行公布。
8月1日，各縣（市、區）教體局將對網報人數超過招生計劃的民辦初中（含已轉公的公參民學校），組織電腦隨機派位，并即時公布派位結果。
