7月24日，國防部長董軍應邀訪問泰國期間與泰國防部長阿敦舉行會談，就兩國兩軍關系、國際地區形勢和共同關心的問題深入交換意見。雙方一致認為，要在兩國領導人戰略引領下，推動中泰軍事合作提質升級。中方始終致力于維護地區和平穩定，支持泰柬雙方鞏固停火、重建互信、和平解決爭端。會談前，阿敦為董軍舉行歡迎儀式，并陪同檢閱儀仗隊。
