公開資料顯示，譚權，男，1971年7月出生，漢族，四川宣漢人，博士研究生學歷，工程力學專業。
2025年10月，譚權出任公安部部長助理。
2026年7月16日，人社部網站發布國務院任免國家工作人員信息，其中包括免去譚權的公安部部長助理職務。
